About Lily

My story

I feel like I'm in my world while I'm painting, between the colour brushes and the smell of the paints.

I've always dreamed of finding something beautiful in modern-day Syria. Growing up in Damascus, I cherished my roots, but I left in 2011 to explore the wider world and all its changes. Art has been my way of making sense of it all. I'm a doodler and a dreamer, and my experiences are filled with hope — the stories of people inspire every piece I create.

I truly enjoy spending time on my own, whether in my cosy studio or out in the field. Art is a big part of my life: it fills my mornings, afternoons and nights, and it brings me so much joy. I love playing around with whatever materials I can find, and I also enjoy experimenting with words. To me, life is a wonderful adventure, and it deserves to be celebrated. I believe we all have our unique stories to share, and it's the beauty around us that can heal the world. That's what my studio is all about.

My style

My painting style is bold and vibrant, combining colours and shapes to create emotionally evocative pieces.

When I'm not drawing and painting you could find me hanging out with pals, hiking up hills or doing aerial yoga. I often design for different brands and set designs, I'm always excited about the next creative project, and I love to collaborate with other creatives.
